Budgetly - Privacy note
Last updated: July 2026
Budgetly is offline-first. Your budgets, expenses, and receipts stay on your device. Budgetly does not collect, transmit, or sell personal financial data.
What stays on your device
- Expenses, categories, budgets, settings, receipt photos, and progress state are stored in the app’s private on-device storage.
- No account is required for core use. There is no Budgetly server that holds your ledger.
- Bank statements you import (for example CSV or PDF) are parsed on-device and are not uploaded to HumNod.
What we do not do
- No analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of your spending data.
- No selling or sharing of financial records with data brokers.
- No remote access to your budget database.
Permissions
- Camera - only when you choose to scan a receipt. Processing is on-device; photos stay in app storage unless you export them.
- Notifications (optional) - local reminders only (for example streaks or nudges). You can disable them in system or app settings.
Backups and exports
Backups and CSV exports are created only when you ask, and are saved or shared only where you choose (Files, Drive, email, and so on). HumNod does not receive those files.
Deletion
Uninstalling the app removes its local data. You can also delete individual records inside the app at any time.
Changes
If this notice changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page. We will not weaken the core privacy promises without a clear, dated revision.
